New addon released : OOoMultiDiff

Yesterday, we (StarXpert) released a new Add-on for OpenOffice.org called multidiff. This Add-on simplifies sending OpenOffice.org documents in ODF, PDF or Ms Office format. It is mostly useful for basic users of OpenOffice.org who are not used to the different formats. Features :

  • Works with all the OOo modules (Writer, Calc...)

  • Send the document by mail (attached under ODF, PDF or MS Office)
  • Save document (under ODF, PDF or MS Office)
  • Follow modifications
  • Translated into French and English
  • OOoMultiDiff is licenced under LGPL

You can download OOoMultiDiff on : http://www.starxpert.fr/staroffice/ressources.htm#ooomultidiff And if you have some time, we would appreciate feedbacks.

  • Hi,

    Where should I feedback?
I got a "could not find image" message. Is this a known issue?

    Otherwise OOoMultiDiff works well! :)

  • Thanks Kazuni and theo for your comments.

About the "could not find image", this was not a know issue. But I could reproduce it, so, we will correct it as soon as possible.

For Theo : this add-on should be simple enought not to need much documentation. Here is how to install it :

    - click on the link called "Téléchargez OOoMultiDiff" to download multidiff.
    - download the zip file
    - From OpenOffice.org, go to the menu : Tools > package manager.
    - Once the dialog launched, click on te add button and select the zip file
    - The next time you will launch OpenOffice.org, you will get the add-on installed in its own toolbar.
    - You now just have to click on the button to launch multidiff.
